The practice nurses are available every week day by appointment. OUT OF HOURS EMERGENCIES If you need urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed ALWAYS telephone 682174. You will be diverted to Doctors On Call, the local deputising service, staffed by experienced local GP's. For out of hours telephone advice telephone NHS direct on 0845 4647 where you will be able to speak to a qualified nurse. CONSULTATIONS We have a full team of health professionals who are equipt to deal with all of your queries. Consultations for advice, diagnosis and referral are available with the doctor, nurse practitioner, practice nurses and the health visitor. TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS We do offer telephone consultations to those patients who feel that have a query which does not require a trip to the surgery. If you wish to speak to the doctor or nurse please telephone the surgery. If there is no one available to speak to you immediately, your call will be returned by the doctor or nurse as soon as possible. APPOINTMENTS If you need to be seen on the same day as your call we will endeavor to do this. Urgent problems will be seen within half a working day. If you do wish to be seen urgently, please phone as early as possible and be prepared to come to the surgery at short notice and possibly in the mornings. HOME VISITS If you are too ill to attend at the surgery please telephone before 10am where possible. This will enable the doctor or nurse to schedule you in to their daily visits with ease.
